Albas is a lovely city, nested in one of the meanders of the Lot river.The trekking circuit basically takes you through the vineyards, the forests, the walnut plantations and alongside the Lot to finish.
An amazing time to do it would be end of august & september, when the grapes are full and the fruits are tempting! Blackberries, pears, apples, walnuts... some are wild, some aren't but even if you don't get to taste any, the sights alone are worth the trip.
Albas is a truly lovely city with a lot of cachet. I never get that enthus'd about a city but this one kinda stole my heart!
